Tyler Wieman, MD, is a newly practicing primary care physician in Lafayette, CO. He is excited to serve the local community with compassionate, comprehensive, patient-centered care. After completing medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Dr. Wieman completed residency training at St. Anthony North Family Medicine Residency, where he developed a deep commitment to providing holistic, personalized healthcare for patients of all ages. As a primary care provider, Dr. Wieman is dedicated to establishing long-term relationships with patients and helping them navigate their health journey through preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment. Whether seeking annual wellness exams, managing a chronic condition such as diabetes or hypertension, or addressing an unexpected health concern, Dr. Wieman provides care focusing on treatment and overall well-being. “I am your classic family medicine doctor who enjoys working with patients ranging from newborn children to elderly folk looking for a new primary care doctor to help them live a quality life. I have always been interested in sports medicine, which has led me to enjoy seeing/treating orthopedic patients and performing joint injections regularly. Throughout my residency/training, I mostly cared for women of all ages, which I hope to translate to my future practice.” Dr. Wieman is particularly passionate about preventive medicine and health education. He believes in empowering patients with the tools and knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health. Dr. Wieman’s collaborative approach is working with patients to create individualized care plans that align with their unique needs, lifestyles, and health goals. Outside of medicine, Dr. Wieman enjoys classic Colorado activities, including hiking and fishing and all Colorado sporting events!
