A native of Deerfield Beach, Florida, Kristen earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Clemson University in South Carolina. After working as a Registered Nurse for 10 years Kristen continued her education by earning a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Florida, Gainesville. She spent 19 years working as a family nurse practitioner and the last two years as a neurology nurse practitioner. Kristen’s clinical interests include stroke, memory problems and headaches.“I believe in health promotion, which is not simply the prevention of disease, but rather promoting maximum health and function despite any limitations.”When not seeing patients in the clinic, Kristen enjoys hiking, cooking, skiing and exploring new locations. Married to her college sweetheart, Kristen has three children and is looking forward to becoming a grandparent.
