Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Bushard earned both a bachelor's and master’s degree in Chemistry from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He graduated from Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri with a Doctor of Medicine. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine, a residency in Neurology and a fellowship in Stroke/Cerebrovascular Disease at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis. Board certified in neurology, vascular neurology and headache medicine, Dr. Bushard’s clinical interests include headaches, migraine, stroke, epilepsy and general neurology.“I am passionate about building long-term relationships with my patients. One of my favorite things about outpatient medicine is you get to see people for an extended period of time and really get to know them. My goal is to provide each patient with high quality, evidence-based, cost-effective care in a pleasant and congenial manner.”Dr. Bushard and his wife, who is also a physician, spend a lot of their free time watching their two boys play sports. He also enjoys downhill skiing, hiking, camping and cycling.
